Business Development Manager for Security Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Operations Resources. As a Business Development Manager for Security Systems, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the CCTV and access control industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing new systems in new-build properties and upgrades to systems in existing blocks
- Responding to inbound sales opportunities and requests to tender
- Self-driven new business development, including surveying and estimating
- Sales meetings with clients, including large housing associations, local authorities, and large building firms
Requirements:
- Experience selling Security Systems, with a strong understanding of CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Gates & Barriers, and associated Data Networks
- Ability to do basic systems designs, estimating, and preparing sales proposals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of home-based and site-based activities
About the Role:
This is a full-time permanent position with excellent earning potential. You will be working from our company's HQ in Essex around 1 day per week, with occasional visits to other sites across the UK.
