We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London as a Head Housekeeper. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of our Housekeeping Department and contributing to creating a positive, memorable, and magical experience for our guests.

Job Description

This is a leadership position responsible for overseeing the Floor Housekeepers, preparing room lists for Room Attendants, checking all VIP rooms, and ensuring all guest rooms and public areas meet company standards through daily spot checks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Housekeeping Department and ensure that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel.
  • Prepare room lists for Room Attendants and oversee the cleaning of guest rooms.
  • Check all VIP rooms and ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a 5-star property is essential.
  • Excellent customer service and team management skills.
  • Possession of strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Great command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • A polite and professional attitude towards internal and external guests.
