About the Role:

As a Housekeeping Department Trainer at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing training needs of housekeeping associates. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a consistent high standard of cleanliness to achieve business and department goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Drive and communicate Sheraton brand values, Marriott values, and ensure all training and development activities are strategically linked to the organization's mission and vision.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping manager to set up cleanliness goals and communicate them to associates, demonstrating effective technical and leadership skills.
  • Help identify performance gaps in the department and work to reach set goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Complete appropriate training to improve performance and enhance quality levels received by guests.
  • Administer core training initiatives in compliance with corporate training and development standards.
  • Promote and inform associates about all training programs to ensure maximum participation.
  • Maintain a training database to track participants, completion lists, and follow up on uncompleted training.
  • Coordinate property compliance training programs, such as Power of Clean, COSHH, and Crib training.


Requirements:


  • Able to maintain a high level of cleanliness and adhere to quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify and address performance gaps in the department.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
