Maths Department Leader

We are seeking an enthusiastic Maths teacher who has a genuine passion for their subject and enjoys working as part of a highly effective team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our Maths department. As a Maths Department Leader, you will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing lessons to students across Key Stage 5, with a focus on enhancing student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and manage the Maths department in line with the academy's vision and values.
  • To develop and implement engaging Maths curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • To monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
  • To work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the department.

Salary:

The salary for this role is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
