Job Description

A successful Commercial Director is needed at Nurture Talent to lead a commercial team across all FMCG brand manufacturers, delivering new sales revenues and helping clients grow their business.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure you are connected with clients at a strategic level, driving sales growth and improving market share.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of Commercial Team
  • Sales Delivery and Strategy
  • Achieving budgeted new sales revenues and gross margin targets
  • Developing strong relationships with key UK CPG and retailer clients
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals
  • Identifying client opportunities and issues and creating solutions that address these
  • Sales Operations and Management
  • Negotiating and preparing sales contracts and seeing them through to completion
  • Monitoring market conditions and competition and staying up to date with industry trends and FMCG activity
  • Building a positive team environment and developing relationships across the group to surface business and process improvement opportunities
  • Partnering with marketing and lead generation functions to establish successful demand generation, trade marketing, channel, and partner programs
  • Leveraging international client relationships where helpful and sharing best practices with other European sales teams
  • Assisting in other related activities as requested from time to time by the company

This role offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office. Experience in successfully leading a Commercial Team and selling into FMCG Brands is essential for this position.

The estimated salary for this role is between £90-100k base, with an OTE of £125k.
