PhD Studentship: Developing Digital Tools to Support a Personalised Preventative Pathway for Children's Mental Health

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join our research team at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that aims to develop digitally supported personalised prevention pathways for children's mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on the development of AI-driven digital tools for mental health prevention in children
  • Work with a broad range of stakeholders, including children and families, to refine the preventative pathway
  • Develop complex longitudinal models to investigate the role of heterogeneous factors in neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions
  • Collaborate with the research team to ensure the responsible development of AI tools
Requirements:
  • Applicants should have, or expect to gain, a 1st class or high 2.1 class Honours degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in handling large-scale datasets, longitudinal modelling, and electronic health records is desirable
  • Strong research skills and a passion for mental health research are essential
