We are pleased to announce a PhD studentship opportunity in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Cambridge. This project aims to develop digitally supported personalized prevention pathways for children's mental health services.
Project OverviewThe project will refine the existing blueprint, engage with stakeholders, and co-develop detailed specifications for AI-driven digital tools. We seek candidates interested in using large longitudinal datasets to investigate factors contributing to differences in neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop complex longitudinal models to explore correlations and interactions of various factors.
- Build responsible AI tools and validate them to ensure equity in care delivery.
- Conduct research in the area of child mental health and AI-driven digital tools.
Candidates should possess a good degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, computer science, genetics, mathematics, psychology, biology, medicine, neuroscience, or biochemistry. We particularly welcome applications from individuals from under-represented backgrounds in academic research.
What We OfferThe stipend will be provided for the 3-year duration of the award, covering fees for home students in full, along with modest funding for research running costs and travel to scientific conferences.
