PhD Studentship Opportunity

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD student to join a collaborative project investigating approaches to structured inter-religious encounter and exchange. The project, led by Professor Esra Özyürek, aims to critically examine the interaction between interfaith programs and the goal of reducing prejudice and discrimination.
The successful candidate will work on a practice-based PhD project that will augment previous studies of interfaith work. The project will include a unique focus on the interaction between interfaith programs and the goal of reducing prejudice and discrimination, whether in terms of religion or belief, gender, race, nationality, or other intersectional identities.
The DTP studentships will provide an annual maintenance grant to cover living costs and university tuition fees at home fee level. The fee gap between the home and overseas fee rates will be covered by the University through internal co-funding for international candidates.
