Job Title:

PhD Studentship in Therapeutic Cancer Prevention

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PhD student to join our research team in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will work on a collaborative project with AstraZeneca to investigate novel therapeutic options for preventing the development of breast cancer in high-risk individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in cancer biology and pharmacology
  • Develop and implement novel therapeutic strategies for cancer prevention
  • Collaborate with researchers from AstraZeneca and the University of Cambridge
  • Present research findings at international conferences
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. cell or developmental biology, biochemistry)
  • Strong research experience in cancer biology and pharmacology
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
