Job Description

\

We are seeking an experienced Operational Support Manager to join our Orthopaedics Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the administrative functions, supporting the delivery of surgical services, and ensuring compliance with trust regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the service, including 18-week, cancer, and diagnostic delivery across sub-specialties.\
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities, including site-specific outpatients, inpatients, and ward administration, as well as administrative staff.\
  • Deliver exceptional patient experience by responding to queries and complaints, investigating incidents, and collaborating with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).\

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.\

  • Able to work under pressure, with a flexible attitude towards change management.\

Salary and Benefits

\

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
