Orthopaedic Scrub Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Scrub Specialist to join our team at The Surgical Consortium. As a key member of our surgical theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide expert scrubbing skills during orthopaedic surgeries.
  • To maintain a clean and safe environment within the operating theatre.
  • To work effectively with other members of the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RN pin
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a scrub nurse in an orthopaedic surgery setting
  • Strong knowledge of orthopaedic surgical procedures and techniques
  • Familiarity with a variety of orthopaedic systems and arthroplasties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on patient safety
