Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Programme Director to join our team at Spire. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a strategic framework to enhance Christian mission and ministry in the diocese.

This is a full-time role with options available around flexible and hybrid working. Key responsibilities include supporting the governance framework, day-to-day management of the programme, resource procurement, impact analysis, and contributing to funding applications.

About the Role

The Strategic Programme Director will work closely with senior colleagues to develop, monitor, and deliver an engagement plan that achieves local ownership. They will also be responsible for facilitating effective project management, coordinating implementation, and monitoring progress.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with experience in developing and implementing strategic frameworks. A strong understanding of Christian mission and ministry is essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

What We Offer

Spire offers a competitive salary of £50,437 per annum, plus benefits including 25 days annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, and healthcare cash plan. Our office base is located in an attractive area with free parking and easy access to public transport.
