Senior Paediatric Nurse

About the Role:
Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Paediatric Nurse to join their Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward. You will support and mentor junior nurses, using your extensive clinical knowledge to guide and support them, and step up to lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse.
This varied role includes implementing and evaluating holistic care plans for children in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and participating in audits or quality improvement projects to enhance the care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for children with complex needs.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Supervise and mentor junior nurses to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
Requirements:
- NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support.
- Experience in Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs.
- Understanding of safeguarding issues.
- Experience supervising and assessing students and shift leading (desirable).
