Senior Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Paediatric Nurse to join our team in the Paediatric Emergency Department at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses in the Paediatric Emergency Department, providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care given to patients in the Paediatric Emergency Department
- Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure the safety and well-being of children and their families
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and departmental efficiency
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental performance
- Part 1 Registered Nurse - Child or equivalent
- Level 3 Safeguarding
- PILS certificate
- Mentoring/Assessing qualification or willingness to undertake
- APLS/EPALS
- Proven experience in Paediatric Emergency Nursing
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
