Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and contributing to the development of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of nurses in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, ensuring that they are evidence-based and aligned with Trust values.
- Contribute to the development of nursing practice, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
- Registered Nurse on the NMC register, with a valid PIN.
- Experience of working in a paediatric setting, with a strong understanding of paediatric nursing practice.
- Leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team of nurses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges.
