Senior Paediatric Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Paediatric Nurse to join our team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a Senior Paediatric Nurse, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and Complex Care Inpatient Ward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to children with complex needs
- Support and mentor junior nurses to develop their skills and knowledge
- Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge nurse
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
Requirements:
- NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support
- Experience working within Paediatric Neurorehabilitation and complex care needs
- Experience with tracheostomised patients is desirable
- Understanding of safeguarding issues
- Teaching and mentoring experience
- Excellent clinical governance and experience with audits
