SEMH Support Specialist Opportunity

EdEx is looking for a dedicated SEMH Support Specialist to work with our team. As an Unqualified Mental Health Assistant - SEMH Needs, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health requirements.

This is a rewarding long-term, full-time position that offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people. Our team works closely with class teachers to deliver tailored support and ensure every student reaches their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted interventions to meet individual student needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • A graduate with strong academic achievements.
  • Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Understanding of SEN/SEMH needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SpLD.
