About the Role

As a SEMH Teaching Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students with SEMH needs.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies for promoting mental health and well-being among students.
  • Work closely with other professionals to design and implement tailored lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students.
  • Use evidence-based practices to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive relationships.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that arise when working with SEMH children.
  • The ability to adapt and differentiate teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.

Estimated salary: £38,000 - £58,000 per annum.
