About the Position
  • As a Specialist Teaching Assistant for SEMH, you will collaborate with our team to support pupils across the secondary curriculum on a long-term basis.
  • You will work closely with pupils to develop and implement tailored learning strategies, focusing on their unique needs and strengths.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualification in Teaching Assistance with experience in working with young people who have EBD or SEMH.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and create a supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to promoting happiness, independence, and a love for learning among students.
  • Develop and maintain effective behaviour management and support skills.
  • Familiarity with working in a nurture setting.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
