Teaching Assistant SEMH

We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team at TeacherActive, supporting young males with SEMH and other needs.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with social emotional mental health/emotional behavioural difficulties, and be able to adapt their teaching style to meet the needs of individual students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality support in class
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery
- Manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Work closely with students to support their development
At TeacherActive, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £25-£30 per hour, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for further long-term work.
What You Need- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Enhanced DBS check and ID checks
- Good professional references
