Job Description

As an Independence Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes or in our Care Home in Corringham
  • Working collaboratively with experienced staff to promote independence and enhance the overall quality of life for clients
  • Providing 7-hour shifts starting between 6 and 7 am and 2 and 3 pm, covering both early and late shifts, and weekends

Requirements include:

  • Full Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for working in the Community
  • Mileage paid at 45p per mile
  • A professional attitude and knowledge around understanding Dementia, Challenging behaviours, and Manual Handling
  • A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for Adults at enhanced plus adults barred list level
