Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Senior Social Worker to join our Child and Family Assessment Team in Thurrock. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to children and families, promoting positive outcomes, and striving for excellence in all aspects of your work.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. You will be working within the Signs of Safety model and using a contextual safeguarding approach to deliver exceptional services.

Responsibilities:

  • Completing s17 and S47 assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families
  • Supporting the Team Manager in day-to-day service delivery, including planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to promote effective collaboration and communication

Requirements:

You will need to have a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to children and families, a strong understanding of the Signs of Safety model and contextual safeguarding approach, and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an enhanced level.
