Thurrock Council Social Work Lead

**About the Role:**
We are looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner to lead our Community Led Support (CLS) team at Thurrock Council.
This is a permanent, full-time role that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and responsive social care environment.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to residents, working closely with local partners and communities to create positive outcomes.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing support plans for vulnerable adults, working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
You will also provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members, contributing to the development of a skilled and motivated team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A postgraduate qualification in social work or a related field.
- Significant experience in adult social care, preferably in a leadership or management capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
