Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team at The Academics. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with students who require additional support due to SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students, promoting their emotional awareness and social skills.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to address each student's unique needs.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children and adolescents with SEMH needs.
- Strong knowledge of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
