SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEMH school in Cowley, Oxford. The successful candidate will have a degree in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology and relevant experience working with children with special educational needs. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and adaptability, with a salary of £83-95 per day.
About the School:
The SEMH school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children with social and emotional mental health needs. Our team of experienced educators and therapists work together to provide individualised support plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
Your Role:
- Support students with complex needs in a one-to-one setting
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Participate in classroom activities and provide emotional support to students as needed

- Degree in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology (or related field)
- Relevant experience working with children with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
