We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our team at COWORTH PARK, a renowned luxury hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless execution of events and daily service. You will work closely with our senior chefs to plan menus, manage inventory, and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate food and beverage operations, including planning menus, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Work closely with senior chefs to ensure seamless execution of events and daily service.
  • Manage staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Maintain accurate records, including inventory management, stock control, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and housekeeping, to ensure a cohesive and seamless guest experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in cooking, preferably with experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds 7061/7062 or NVQ Level 2/3.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
