Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and passion for customer service will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Housekeeping department, ensuring adherence to Staycity Group's quality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance of the property's presentation and hygiene standards, consistently meeting the company's high-quality benchmarks.
- Manage customer interactions and assist with daily operations and administration of the Housekeeping department.
- Inspect goods received by the Housekeeping department, checking for quality and quantity, and ensure delivery receipts are signed and forwarded to the Accounts Department.
- Accountable for all Housekeeping equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and maintaining sufficient inventory levels.
- Provide training, guidance, and supervision to the Housekeeping team, participating in day-to-day department activities.
- Evaluate individual and team performance against set objectives, offering constructive feedback and implementing corrective measures as needed.
- Develop and execute department-specific training plans to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Foster collaborative relationships with other departments, promoting effective communication and teamwork across the organization.
- Take on project work and respond to ad hoc requests from the General Manager and Head Office.
- Proven track record in hotel or hospitality, with prior experience in housekeeping.
- Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring our apartments meet our high standards.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer care and the ability to expertly handle any guest concerns or complaints.
- Excellent communication skills, highly focused, motivated, and professional in appearance and presentation to represent the Staycity Group Brand.
- A self-motivator with attention to detail and a passion for customer service.
- Demonstrate ability to motivate, appraise, support, and challenge the team to deliver world-class results on every aspect of the business on a daily basis continuously.
