Senior Housekeeping Supervisor

Imperial London Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The President Hotel in Bloomsbury, Central London.

About the Role

As a Senior Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction across all hotel rooms and public areas. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that all aspects of housekeeping operations are running smoothly, including allocating daily workloads, managing supplies, and providing training and development to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Housekeeping Manager and ensure that all aspects of housekeeping operations are running smoothly.
  • Conduct regular checks across guest accommodation and public areas to ensure they meet company brand standards and procedures.
  • Manage all audit processes to a high standard, ensuring 100% Health and Safety compliance throughout the hotel.
  • Responsible for controlling costs and stock supplies, including laundry and amenities ordering and staff payroll.
  • Support the Housekeeping Manager with recruitment and onboarding of housekeeping team members and inspiring them to deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for delivering exceptional standards and guest experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal departments and guests.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage time and prioritize workload effectively.
  • A natural leader, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to reach their full potential.
  • A positive can-do attitude, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team.
