Assistant Housekeeping Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Conrad London St James. As a key member of the hotel's housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Monitor and control housekeeping costs, including linen, cleaning supplies, and labor expenses.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front office, food and beverage, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing housekeeping teams and improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
