Patient Safety and Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Patient Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our team for a fixed term of 12 months. This role will sit within the Trust's patient safety team within the Quality Governance department.
Main Responsibilities- Collate and present safety performance data, analysing themes and trends to inform improvement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver training on patient safety and compliance, using a range of media to support governance and compliance.
- Liaise and coordinate CQC inspections, developing compliance tools and ensuring quality assurance of information provided.
- Oversight and coordination of patient safety alerts, reviewing safety-related information to gain a better understanding of safety of care within the Trust.

Person Specification- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Recent experience in the safety and quality governance environment with an emphasis on patient safety/clinical risk and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail, assertive but polite and professional, able to maintain discretion regarding sensitive issues.
