About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual to provide support for pupils with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). As a Support Assistant, you will work collaboratively with other Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and class teachers to create positive relationships with pupils and encourage positive choices and behavior.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support within classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and class teachers.
  • Support pupils throughout the school day and across the specialist provision.
  • Encourage the use of senses in learning and support pupils in developing their skills and abilities.
Requirements
  • Competitive rate of £85-95 per day.
  • No prior school experience is required, but a keen interest in child development, disability, psychology, or nursing is desirable.
  • Ability to commit to the school on a long-term basis for full-time positions.
  • Flexibility to work varied or ad-hoc days for part-time and/or full-time positions.
