Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Specialist School in York. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping our students with Multiple Learning Difficulty and Autism to reach their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Support students in class and during breaks/lunch time
  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils as needed
  • Assist with personal care for students

About the School:

Our school caters for children aged 11-18 with special educational needs, including Moderate, Severe, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
