The Accounts Receivable Analyst role at Travel Counsellors Ltd is a critical position that requires a high level of expertise in managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely payments, and minimizing credit risk.

As a key member of the accounts receivable team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Effectively managing the sales ledger, ensuring payments are collected in line with agreed payment terms, and proactively managing communications with customers and Travel Counsellors.
  • Ensuring fraud, credit, or trade compliance risks are controlled according to business specifications.
  • Compiling, analysing, and interpreting information for approval of credit facilities or onward recommendation.
  • Providing support for key audit activities, e.g. annual credit reviews, mass account deactivations, and master data reviews.
  • Supporting the achievement and exceeding of KPI expectations while working within the agreed SLAs by managing and prioritising daily workload to ensure deadlines are met/exceeded for all activities.
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis of complex issues to drive process improvement and issue resolution in the end-to-end AR process flow, identifying potential process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for the team and any outsource provider and educating suppliers, business users, and TCs to aid reduction in exceptions and demand on query management.
  • Being the first point of contact to the business, TCs, and third-party providers as a SME (Subject Matter Expert), responding promptly to enquiries raised to ensure timely resolution.
  • Building successful business relationships at all levels (particularly in Finance and with TCs) to encourage efficiency and understanding and providing excellent customer relations, written and verbal to suppliers, TCs, and the business.
  • Working within Travel Counsellors' internal compliance/guidance rules, legislations, and CARE values and working closely with any outsource service provider to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of services by analysing daily KPIs and escalating, if necessary, to management.
