Property Surveyor Role

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking an experienced Property Surveyor to join its team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves advising on reinvestment programmes, conducting stock surveys, and providing specialist input on various surveying matters.


About the Job:
This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a company car. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and contract performance through thorough property inspections.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance.
  • Help identify necessary asset improvements in line with business plans and develop strategies for high-quality services delivery.
  • Manage cyclical and capital work projects according to legislation and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Oversee the delivery of mixed-tenure work programmes in accordance with organisational financial policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage documentation for work specifications and quotations.

Requirements:
  • Hold AssocRIC, MRICS CIOB, or Degree in Surveying qualifications to meet health and safety requirements.
  • Proven experience working collaboratively to deliver property-related works.
  • Familiarity with building, surveying, and maintenance environments.
  • A working knowledge of relevant legislations and best practices.
  • The ability to extract and interpret computerised information and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages.
