Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Office Coordinator at Royal Stoke University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inpatient waiting lists, planning and executing tasks, and adhering to departmental policies.

About the Role:

  • Use your judgment to effectively handle queries and manage inpatient waiting lists.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute tasks to ensure timely correspondence and document management.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Operate office equipment, manage supplies, and maintain a well-organized environment.
  • Familiarity with clerical experience is beneficial, but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • A qualification at NVQ level 2 or OCR 2, or equivalent, is required.

The role will be based at Royal Stoke University Hospital and may require cross-site working, potentially involving travel between Royal Stoke University Hospital (Stoke-on-Trent) and County Hospital (Stafford) sites.
