Medical Office Coordinator

As a Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your administrative skills to ensure the smooth operation of our Elderly Care Secretarial team.
- A caring attitude, with the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Outlook
- Clinical typing experience, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- A clear understanding of clinics and appointments, with the ability to coordinate schedules and communicate effectively

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ level 2, OCR 2 or equivalent qualification
- A reasonable standard of GCSE A-C (4-9) or equivalent
- Secretarial/clerical background, with experience of working in a healthcare environment
This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, as well as a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
