Customer-Focused Sales Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Nuneaton, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product selection.
  • Offer product knowledge and advice to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
  • Maintain the store's visual presentation and stock levels to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure a clean and tidy store environment that meets our high standards.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the store management through effective sales techniques and product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude that aligns with our company values.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Basic IT skills for till and stock management systems to ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping.
