Job Summary:

The Selwyn Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Engagement: Engage with guests to assist them during their stay, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
  • Lobby Presence: Maintain a consistent presence in the lobby and public areas, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Arrival and Departure: Handle guest arrivals, check-ins, departures, and ensure the appearance of the lobby and entrance remains inviting.
  • Reservations: Make and manage reservations to maximize occupancy and ensure rate availability.
  • Guest Feedback: Seek opportunities to improve the guest experience through feedback and strategy development.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: A commitment to delivering high-level customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Personal Presentation: Excellent personal presentation, reflecting the hotel's high standards.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, supporting colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Decision Making: Autonomy to make logical decisions, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • IT Proficiency: Competent IT proficiency, utilizing technology to enhance guest experience and streamline operations.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
