Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced sign language support worker to provide 1:1 support with pupils between the ages of 2-11.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, parents, and educators to understand and address their communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusive learning practices
  • Work closely with pupils, parents, and educators to understand and address their communication needs
  • Contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for all students

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in British Sign Language
  • Previous experience working with pupils with hearing impairments
  • Enhanced DBS check on the updated service

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils with hearing impairments and possess excellent communication skills.
