Job Description

We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual to join our team as a Relief Support Worker at our Birmingham services. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing respectful personal care, practical and emotional support to individuals with learning disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of twelve months' experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and be able to work flexibly in shifts over the weekend including waking nights. A relevant professional qualification is desirable, but it's crucial that you are warm and able to work in a person-centred manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing respectful personal care and practical support to individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Assisting Service Users to participate in the local community.
  • Developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, families, and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service.
