Sign Language Teaching Assistant Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Teaching Assistant Lead to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires the successful candidate to have excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of BSL.
The successful candidate will lead a team of BSL support workers and provide guidance and support to ensure that all students receive the best possible support. They will also be responsible for developing strategies for supporting students with hearing impairments and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to improve student outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of BSL support workers
- Developing strategies for supporting students with hearing impairments
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to improve student outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of Level 2 in BSL, or equivalent experience and qualifications
- Experience working with students with hearing impairments
- An enhanced DBS check and at least two years' worth of references
