Queen Alexandra College is seeking a highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide interpreting services for d/Deaf learners in a college environment, enabling them to access their course and interact with academic staff and peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality interpreting services, including front-of-class interpreting during teaching sessions
  • To work closely with the assigned Communication Support Worker to ensure allocated students reach their full potential
  • Supporting d/Deaf learners outside of the classroom and during extracurricular activities
  • Collaborating with tutors to create effective lesson plans and evaluating student progress

We offer a competitive salary of £32,500 - £35,500 per annum, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be flexible and able to work independently.
