The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly individual to join our professional Hotel Reception team as a Receptionist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Your duties will include welcoming arrival guests, handling guest check-in and rooming, and responding to guest enquiries in person and over the phone. You will also be responsible for posting charges and guest billing, taking bedroom reservations, and producing daily activity reports for internal departments.

During quieter times, you may be requested to assist the food and beverage assistants. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a warm and friendly disposition, and a genuine desire to serve our guests.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekend shifts, 37.5 hours per week (5 days)
  • Excellent standard of personal appearance
  • Excellent communicator in person and on the telephone
