Kent County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader Liaison and Research Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our Group Leaders, ensuring that their needs are met and their work is carried out efficiently.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under own initiative and have the ability to establish positive working relationships with staff, elected Members, and other professionals.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support to Opposition Group Leaders
  • Liaising with staff, elected Members, and other professionals
  • Carrying out research and analysis ahead of committee meetings
  • Minute taking and diary management
