About the Position

We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Opposition Support Liaison at Kent County Council.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to an Opposition Group leader, including carrying out horizon scanning activity and undertaking research and analysis ahead of committee meetings.

Key responsibilities will include diary management, liaising with the public, and minute taking, as well as establishing positive working relationships with staff, elected Members, and other professionals.

The role requires you to work in a politically neutral manner and to have excellent communication skills.

The salary for this role is approximately £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
