About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Away Resorts Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our culinary team, ensuring exceptional meals are produced and delivered to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain consistency of quality in dishes served to customers
  • Manage and direct food preparation processes and activities
  • Plan orders of equipment and ingredients, ensuring effective stock management and wastage reduction
  • Lead and train kitchen staff, overseeing their workload to maximize efficiency and maintain high standards
  • Implement legislative measures and administrative tasks related to Food Hygiene, licensing, and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Dynamic, determined, and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working under pressure, managing workloads during busy periods
  • Commercial awareness and experience working in a commercial environment
  • Familiarity with health & safety regulations and auditing
  • Great leadership skills, ability to build a high-performing team
  • NVQ and relevant food hygiene certificates required
