We are recruiting an experienced occupational therapist to join our client's adult services team in Norfolk. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a specialist recruitment agency and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes.

About the Role

As a locum occupational therapist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing tailored plans for recovery and independence, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments for individuals discharged from acute hospitals.
  • Facilitate timely and safe discharges, supporting a smooth transition back home.
  • Utilise professional expertise to assess needs and develop tailored plans for recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes for individuals.
  • Support the development and implementation of care plans to meet short-term rehabilitation goals.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Knowledge of current policy and practice within Health and Social Care.
