Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Medical Team at The Transformation Unit. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work independently to assess and treat patients on acute medical wards.
  • Support and develop rotational Band 5 therapists, supervise therapy support staff, and educate therapy students on placement.
  • Promote innovation and quality improvement projects within the Acute Medicine team.
Requirements:
  • MSc or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Health and Care Professions Council registration.
  • Current driving licence.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
