About the Role

As a member of the Acute Medical Team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients within the hospital. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that patients receive holistic and proactive care.

Your main responsibilities will include providing occupational therapy services to patients on acute medical wards, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, supervising and developing rotational Band 5 therapists, and participating in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Experience of working in acute medicine and supervising undergraduate occupational therapists
