Residential Childcare Support Specialist

At Claybridge Care, we strive to provide a nurturing environment that supports children to thrive and grow. As a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and loving space for children in care.
- Support children with daily tasks and activities.
- Plan engaging experiences to help children learn life skills.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure emotional and physical well-being.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families through effective communication.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies to help children reach their potential.
- Provide daily support to children with personal care, meal times, and leisure activities.
- Assist with school runs and extracurricular activities.
- Monitor and document children's progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality care.
- Participate in regular supervisions and one-to-one check-ins with your line manager.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Level 3 in residential children and young people's workforce (or willingness to work towards this).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (essential).
- Enhanced DBS check.
